Smuggler busted having 94 iPhones strapped to his body

A Hong Kong man carrying 94 iPhones on his body was caught at Futian Port (China – Hong Kong Border). The smuggler strapped 94 Apple iPhones to his body which include iPhone 5S , iPhone 5C and the brand new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices.Though smuggler managed to pass through the baggage inspection sucessfully , the Officials at the port caught the smuggler when they noticed his creepy walk.The phones were discovered to be strapped all around his legs and chest . However there is no word on the original source on the smuggled phones.

Though gadget smugglers were common in the China – Hong Kong Border, Officials were amused to see 94 iPhones strapped as a body armour.

Since the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus went on sale in September, Shanghai’s International Airport has found more than 800 iPhones which were not declared by passengers.

iPhones are made available in China, people are hired to smuggle in foreign-bought gadgets to escape import taxes before reselling them for a profit.
